For a specific need

Share a bit about what you're working on and I'll come to our first conversation with useful context instead of starting from scratch on the call.

What's at stake, who's involved, what's already in motion.

Thinking ahead

If you're curious about how we might work together before a specific need comes up, a brief introductory call is the place to start. To make that conversation useful, it helps to sit with a few questions first:

  • What are the significant moments in your organization's life where culture, direction, or capability are actually on the line?
  • Who's currently responsible for shaping those moments? How are they thinking about them?
  • What's working about that now? What isn't?
  • If things went really well, what would actually be different?

Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of organizations do you work with?

Creative teams and creative business leaders. Studios, knowledge-led organizations, agencies — people who work at the intersection of ideas and execution, where the complexity is human as much as it is operational. The common thread is a particular kind of problem, whatever the industry: the kind that doesn't show up in dashboards.

How does an engagement typically begin?

Almost always with a listening tour or a diagnostic phase: some form of structured inquiry before any recommendation or design work. I need to see how the system actually operates, which is rarely how it was designed to operate, before I can intervene usefully. That principle shapes every engagement, even short ones.

How long does a typical engagement last?

It varies with scope and complexity. A focused listening tour and synthesis might span a few weeks. A facilitated workshop series runs longer. Embedded work, where I'm present over time as an organization works through change, can extend for months. The right scope usually becomes clear early in the process.

What's your pricing structure?

Project-based, scoped to the engagement. I usually propose a few options at different investment levels, each a genuine version of the work. Short or contained engagements sometimes run on a time-and-materials basis, and non-profit rates are available.

Can you respond quickly to something urgent?

Yes, depending on current availability. Organizations in crisis often need a different kind of presence than planning-stage work: steadiness, outside perspective, calm under pressure. If something urgent is happening, reach out directly and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help and what that might look like.

Do you offer follow-up support after an engagement ends?

Yes. Some clients return for discrete moments — a check-in six months out, a second workshop when something changes. Others want continued presence over time. Either is available, and we can build follow-up into the original scope or revisit it as the engagement closes.
